Jaho-Babaramo House is very interesting because of its structure, with two wings. This house is the oldest one of all the houses in Gjirokastra. According to specialists it was originally built in 18th century, due to its overall composition and the treatment of wooden partition structures. Nowadays two different families own, this divided house in two parts.

The division took place in 1881. The division changed many things about the interior structure, losing the spaces of other traditional houses. Some modifications were made in 1931, especially in one of them, which now is more preserved than the other. Nowadays Jahoo and Babaramo Families live here.
